Teltronic to deliver TETRA radio communications for first Light Rail Transit system in Indonesia
Teltronic has been selected by systems integrator PT. Mobinet Indonesia to supply a complete TETRA communications solution for a light rail transit project (LRT) in the city of Palemban.
Teltronic, has been selected by systems integrator PT. Mobinet Indonesia to supply a complete TETRA communications solution for a light rail transit project (LRT) inthe city of Palembang, which is planned to be the first one inoperation in Indonesia.
The new transportation system will be installed at Palembag, oneof the cities that will hold the next Asian Games. The company willprovide a full solution including Sepura's TETRA hand portable and mobile radios allied with Teltronic's infrastructure and nextgeneration command and control system developed for thetransportation market
The LRT will provide a vital transport link for the Asian Games,scheduled to be held in the country in the summer of 2018.
The contract will see the provision of infrastructure, includinga switching control node, mast-mounted base stations (MBS) and aCeCo TRANS, a next-generation command and control system speciallytailored to the requirements of the transportation market.
The solution also includes Sepura's STP9000 hand-portableradios, SRG3900 mobile radios, and the railway-regulations-compliant RTP-603 onboard units, equipped with RCC-3000 8" colour touchscreen user interfaces - robust and highlyconfigurable.
