Sepura supplies communications solution to second RHS site
Sepura has once again been chosen by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to supply a complete digital communications solution for one of its key visitor sites.
20 April 2017- Sepura has once again been chosen by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to supply a complete digital communications solution for one of its key visitor sites.
Supplied in conjunction with sales partner Chatterbox Ltd., the solution - comprising an MBS Lite base station, over 70 SC2024 hand-portable radios and a dispatcher application with voice recording and GPS mapping - will boost visitor safety, security and facility management procedures at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, Harrogate, UK.
In addition to loud and clear voice communications, the solution will provide safety features such as Lone Worker and Man-Down. Features such as Emergency Button, Priority Call and GPS will also help to improve response times, instantly alerting first aid and security teams to incidents and their location within the grounds.
"RHS Garden Harlow Carr required a flexible system to keep pace with their evolving requirements, having reported record visitor numbers for the sixth year running," said Gary Leatherby, Managing Director of Chatterbox.
"This solution is a superb fit for the daily operational challenges faced by staff members."
Gary Maughan, Sepura's Regional Director for the UK, Ireland and Northern and Central Europe commented:
"This second award - following the successful deployment at RHS's flagship garden at Wisley - demonstrates Sepura's continued ability to provide high-quality communications solutions to the business and industry sectors.
"We are delighted that the RHS has placed its trust in Sepura once more and we look forward to supplying the remainder of the Society's gardens in the future."
