Sepura extends long-term relationship with Madrid Metro

The latest tranche of 78 RTP-600 onboard units, with railwayintegration, will be integrated in the 2000, 7000 and 80001a trains, to allow communication between drivers,control room staff and also passengers via a connection withexisting public address and intercom systems.
Madrid Metro is the seventh longest in the world, with 301stations spanning 13 lines and 293km of track. The network isadministered by Metro de Madrid, whose responsibilities includemaintaining the service quality of the existing infrastructurewhilst also optimising technology to improve the customerexperience. The RTP-600 has been chosen for its proven voice anddata capability, plus ease of implementation into such aconsiderable network fleet.
