Sepura Brexit Statement
On 1st January 2021, the United Kingdom ended its transition period with the European Union and formally exited the union. New rules now apply to international trade with the EU involving Sepura as with every other UK-based business.
Sepura has a long history of exporting products around the world; our solutions are prominent in mission critical organisations on every continent. As with other companies that export internationally, we have worked through the changes to the regulations to fully understand how they affect us as a supplier, our partners and distributors, and users of our products.
We have carried out a thorough review of our business and supply chain to minimise potential disruptions during the transition period, drawing on our experience of global importation and exportation procedures.
Since 1st January 2021 we have continued to ship products successfully around the world. Whilst some of our partners have experienced additional paperwork compared to before Brexit, Sepura has been helping where we can to ensure that goods are moving freely between the UK and EU. Having worked through the initial period of change, we can confidentially assure our customers, suppliers and all stakeholders that we envisage very little impact overall on the supply chain, and Sepura maintains the same ability to provide flexible, responsive support as we did previously.
We understand that many customers will have concerns around the impact of Brexit and any changing requirements. The Sepura team are available to help if we can; please contact your local partner or Sepura Sales Team representative in the first instance if you need support.
We will continue to review our position as more information is provided by the Government and the EU and this will be updated on www.sepura.com.
